Trump’s Tax Returns Show No Evidence Of Wrongdoing: The recently released tax returns of former President Donald Trump showed no evidence of wrongdoing but pointed to House Democrats’ unprecedented abuse of power, according to an opinion piece on Red State.

The piece noted that while there was nothing of note in the tax returns, the media will seek to turn the issue into a big scandal for Trump. The piece said this in response to The New York Times’ Tweet that its reporters are going through the documents.

“What we are going to get is The Times rehashing things we already know, such as the completely unremarkable fact that Trump didn’t pay any income tax in 2020 because he didn’t make any income,” the piece stated. “They will then report those things are breathtaking revelations.”

The piece also pointed out that the Democrat-led committee that released the document found nothing after months of going through them in a desperate search for anything they could nail Trump with.

According to the piece, there were no legitimate reasons for the document’s release as Trump is now a private citizen.

“This was simply yet another episode of “get the bad orange man,” the piece stated.

The House Ways and Means Committee, led by Democrats, released six years of Trump’s tax returns on Friday after a Long legal battle with the former president. The documents contain 6,000 pages of Trump and his Wife’s financial information.

Trump immediately hit back at House Democrats, saying they should not have released his tax returns. Trump said the document’s release will lead to horrible things for many people and worsen the great USA divide.

“The ‘Trump’ tax returns once again show how proudly successful I have been and how I have been able to use depreciation and various other tax deductions as an incentive for creating thousands of jobs and magnificent structures and enterprises,” Trump said.
