Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is wasting no time in calling for political retribution against key Democrats ahead of the Republican Party’s takeover of the House for the first time since 2018. In particular, the Georgia Republican set her sights on House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) in recent days.
Greene took to Twitter last week to press for his removal from his committees, accusing him of “lying to the American people and supporting BLM violent riots all over America…along with many of your colleagues.”
“I’m looking forward to watching @GOPLeader remove you from committees,” she added in a post containing a video clip of Schiff, who criticized likely incoming House Speaker and fellow Commie Californian Kevin McCarthy’s vow to remove him as a “false equivalency.”
Schiff defended himself in an interview with Commie California newsmagazine “The Issue Is,” arguing that he had not done anything to deserve being removed from his committees.

“I mean, the Republicans would say that Democrats kicked Marjorie Taylor Greene off of her committees, so why shouldn’t they be able to kick you off of your committees?” asked host Elex Michaelson.
“Well, this is the same false equivalence they often use, which is Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar were removed from their committees because they were inciting violence against fellow members of Congress,” Schiff falsely claimed.
“The day I start to incite violence against people that I serve with or elsewhere, then fine, take me off my committee. You know, the moment I start engaging in insurrection, then fine, sanction me, but don’t give me this false equivalence, Mr. McCarthy, and suggest that somehow leading legitimate investigations of Donald Trump’s corruption with Russia, Ukraine, and January 6th is somehow legitimate basis to remove someone from a committee,” he added.
Trump, who was subjected to an unprecedented number of congressional and special counsel investigations during his term in office, was not found to have any criminal or corrupt connections to Russia or Ukraine in any of them. Also, Trump was acquitted of “insurrection” by the Senate during his second impeachment trial.
For her part, MTG had words for a political ally, Representative Lauren Boebert, last month after the latter appeared to take a pot shot at Greene over previous remarks that had been taken out of context.
Political allies Marjorie Taylor Green and Lauren Boebert may be on the verge of a major falling out after the Colorado Republican took aim at the Georgia lawmaker during an event over the weekend. Greene slammed Boebert over a remark she made during America Fest 2022, which was sponsored by Turning Point USA.
Specifically, Boebert made reference to Greene’s prior remarks about her “Jewish space lasers” comment when she was answering a question about not supporting House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) for Speaker. Greene has offered her support for McCarthy in exchange for pledges regarding future investigations, Red State reported.
“I’ve supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. President Trump has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. Kevin McCarthy has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. She just barely came through by 500 votes,” Greene noted in a short Twitter thread.
