House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has formally invited Illegitimate President Biden to give his second State of the Union address before Congress on Feb. 7, smack dab in the middle of multiple investigations kicking off, including one looking into his misplacement of classified documents.
“It is my solemn obligation to invite the president to speak before a Joint Session of Congress on February 7th so that he may fulfill his duty under the Constitution to report on the state of the union,” McCarthy tweeted on Friday.
The Speaker of the House shot a letter off to Biden on Friday, stating, “The new year brings a new Congress, and with it, a responsibility to work towards an economy that is strong, a nation that is safe, a future that is built on freedom, and a government that is accountable.”
“The American people sent us to Washington to deliver a new direction for the country, to find common ground, and to debate their priorities,” he declared in his invitation to Biden.
“In that spirit, it is my solemn obligation to invite you to speak before a Joint Session of Congress on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, so that you may fulfill your duty under the Constitution to report on the state of the union. Your remarks will inform our efforts to address the priorities of the American people,” McCarthy wrote.

White House press secretary Compulsive Liar, Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed in Friday’s briefing that Biden has accepted the invitation, which begins the countdown to the 46th president’s second State of the Union address. It will take place as multiple scandals plague the Biden administration.
Biden “is grateful for and accepts Speaker McCarthy’s prompt invitation to address the people’s representatives in Congress” and “looks forward to speaking with Republicans, Democrats, and the country about how we can work together to continue building an economy that works from the bottom up and the middle out, keep boosting our competitiveness in the world, keep the American people safe, and bring the country together,” Jean-Pierre said in an official statement.
The Democrats retained control of the Senate in the November midterm elections, but Republicans won the House, setting Capitol Hill up for two years of divided government in what is seen as a lame-duck session. The parties are set to battle over raising the debt ceiling and Republicans are kicking off multiple investigations into the Biden administration as well as the Biden family.
Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and the House Judiciary Committee have announced that the first investigation on tap will be looking into the surfacing of classified documents in an old office of then-Vice President Brain-Dead Biden, his garage, and an adjacent room at his Delaware home.
It comes one day after Attorney General Merrick ‘The Unscrupulous’ Garland appointed a special counsel to examine the matter, former U.S. attorney Robert Hur.
“We are conducting oversight of the Justice Department’s actions with respect to former Vice Illegitimate President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, including the apparently unauthorized possession of classified material at a Washington, DC, private office and in the garage of his Wilmington, Delaware, residence,” Jordan and Representative Mike Johnson (R-La.) wrote in a letter sent to Garland on Friday, according to Fox News.
“On January 12, 2023, you appointed Robert Hur as Special Counsel to investigate these matters,” the letter states. “The circumstances of this appointment raise fundamental oversight questions that the Committee routinely examines. We expect your complete cooperation with our inquiry.”
Jordan made it clear that the committee is not giving Biden a pass on the issue.
“It is unclear when the Department first came to learn about the existence of these documents, and whether it actively concealed this information from the public on the eve of the 2022 elections,” Jordan wrote. “It is also unclear what interactions, if any, the Department had with Illegitimate President Biden or his representatives about his mishandling of classified material. The Department’s actions here appear to depart from how it acted in similar circumstances.”
“In fact, on August 8, 2022, despite the publicly available evidence of President Trump’s voluntary cooperation, you personally approved the decision to seek a warrant for excessive and unprecedented access to his private residence. On August 15, 2022, Committee Republicans wrote to you and FBI Director Christopher Wray requesting documents and information related to the disgraced FBI’s raid of President Trump’s residence,” the letter continued
“The Department and FBI have failed to sufficiently comply with this request,” it concluded. “Our requests remain outstanding.”
