If we’ve learned anything over the past six years when it comes to Donald Trump it’s that the media is not going to give him a fair shake, regardless of the circumstances. And that’s precisely what played out over the weekend when he traveled to North Carolina to eulogize Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway.
Diamond and Silk, aka Rochelle Richardson, were hardy Trump supporters and the former president stepped up after Hardaway died unexpectantly earlier this month at home — Silk shared at Saturday’s memorial that she was there at the time, insisting “something ain’t right” and calling for “answers to why are people falling dead suddenly.” Silk also shared that Trump said he would pick up the tab for Diamond’s funeral service.
“This is a fantastic woman that we lost. We haven’t really lost her because she’s looking down. And she loved her sister and she loved her family. I talked to her about it and she was a great passionate woman with a great, big, beautiful brain,” Trump said, in his opening remarks. Yet, even when Trump complimented Silk, the media clung to the same old script of cherry-picking his words and presenting facts out of context to spin reality to make him look bad.
“The world has lost one of its brightest stars,” Trump said. “But I see that we have another star who was equal to, but she stepped up and she is different. I’m serious, I thought I knew them both, I didn’t. I knew Diamond, but I didn’t know Silk at all. I just learned about Silk. You’re fantastic, you’re going to carry on beyond, beyond anybody’s wildest imaginations.” Clearly, Trump is talking about learning more about Silk in the wake of Hardaway’s death, but this was dishonestly portrayed as a “bonkers” admission that he “hardly knew” her.
After Silk goes on and on about how much she loves Trump and all the great times they had together, Trump gets up and says this: “I knew Diamond, but I didn’t know Silk at all. I just learned about Silk. You’re fantastic.” pic.twitter.com/jgReN5hW5C

Naturally, any talk about election concerns would be panned by the media, even though tens of millions of Americans have legitimate concerns about the integrity of our elections as the Democratic Party goes all out to manipulate election laws to gain an advantage. This being something that Trump touched on on Saturday. “How do we stop the cheating? How do we stop it where you get more votes, but you still don’t win?” he said. “The answer is the Republicans have to get tougher, the top people have to get tougher, and you have to really swamp ’em.”
Talk of possible election fraud is only allowed in America when a Democrat is on the losing end, it seems. Another instance being served up with zero context is Trump complaining about how long the service was which is seen below — it’s difficult to form an honest judgment based on the 21-second clip. Still, one thing is certain, the former president is not miffed when talking about the service, even offering his remark with a chuckle.
