Daily Report USA

Former President Donald Trump made headlines in November by announcing that he will make another White House run. While Trump is still the only Republican officially in the race, a new report says that’s about to change. “Special announcement” scheduled for February 15 The paper noted that Haley has advertised a “special announcement” that is scheduled to made on February 15 at The Shed, which is located in Charleston, South Carolina’s Visitor Center.

While Courier cited “a member of Haley’s inner circle” as saying the former governor plans to throw her hat in the ring, it acknowledged that she “has teased at running for the White House for months.”

One example came in an interview late last month with Fox News host Brett Baier, during which she said, ” I think it’s time for new generational change.”

“I don’t think you need to be 80 years old to go be a leader in DC,” Haley added, “I think we need a young generation to come in, step up, and really start fixing things.”

Haley says she “can be that leader”

Newsweek reported that Trump reacted cordially to Haley’s decision to challenge him, telling journalists on his plane last week that, “I talked to her for a little while, I said, ‘Look, you know, go by your heart if you want to run.’”

However, not everyone has reacted warmly to Haley’s presidential ambitions, with some complaining that she is insufficiently conservative.

“It wasn’t that long ago Nikki Haley explained that immigrants are more patriotic than you are,” Carlson said. “She also endorsed the BLM riots. She said Serial Criminal George Floyd’s death, quote, ‘needs to be painful for everyone.’”

Carlson is not the only one to voice such complaints, as Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec has offered similar criticism.
