Trump Trashes ‘MAGA Hating Globalist’ Rupert Murdoch, Says Certain ‘Brave And Patriotic’ Fox Hosts Got It Right

Daily Report USA

Former President Trump pummeled Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch on Wednesday following the release of internal messages in the Dominion lawsuit, telling the billionaire he should get out of the news business if he believes the 2020 election was not “rigged and stolen.”

He also called Fox News hosts “brave and patriotic” for defending him over the 2020 presidential election results and told Murdoch to back off from attacking them.

“If Rupert Murdoch honestly believes that the Presidential Election of 2020, despite MASSIVE amounts of proof to the contrary, was not Rigged & Stolen, then he & his group of MAGA Hating Globalist RINOS should get out of the News Business as soon as possible, because they are aiding & abetting the DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA with FAKE NEWS. Certain BRAVE & PATRIOTIC FoxNews Hosts, who he scorns and ridicules, got it right. He got it wrong. THEY SHOULD BE ADMIRED & PRAISED, NOT REBUKED & FORSAKEN!!!” Trump stated on Truth Social.

“I think that Fox Board Member. RINO Paul Ryan, put his boss, Rupert Murdoch, in great legal and monetary jeopardy by convincing him to to go against his news anchors and their belief that the 2020 Presidential Election was Rigged and Stollen. In so doing Murdoch is saying that Fox behaved badly when, in fact, evidence has proven that the Election was rife with Election Fraud and Irregularities. Ryan is bad luck for Fox. He should either resign or be fired. Too many incompetent RINOS at FoxNews!” the former president charged referring to Republican Paul Ryan who sits on the board for Fox.

The lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems has aired alleged internal Fox News emails including one that reportedly showed Murdoch’s antipathy towards Trump following the Jan. 6 riot.

“We want to make Trump a nonperson,” Murdoch allegedly wrote.

That comment was released as a series of purported messages were also leaked as part of court filings that contend top Fox executives and on-air talent criticized some of the election fraud theories defended by Trump allies.

Murdoch called Trump’s election fraud claims “bullsh*t and damaging” and claimed during his deposition that Fox News hosts endorsed “stolen election lies.” He defended Fox News but threw hosts such as Lou Dobbs, Jeanine Pirro, and Maria Bartiromo under the bus. He also accused Sean Hannity of it as well. Murdoch lashed out at Tucker Carlson for having MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell on his show over what he referred to as false accusations against Dominion and its voting machines.

Murdoch stated that he wished Fox News had been “stronger in denouncing” the former president’s false election fraud claims.

In the defamation case, Fox News claims that its hosts were exercising their First Amendment right to free speech.

“Dominion’s lawsuit has always been more about what will generate headlines than what can withstand legal and factual scrutiny, as illustrated by them now being forced to slash their fanciful damages demand by more than half a billion dollars after their own expert debunked its implausible claims,” a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement to the Daily Mail.

“Their summary judgment motion took an extreme, unsupported view of defamation law that would prevent journalists from basic reporting, and their efforts to publicly smear FOX for covering and commenting on allegations by a sitting President of the United States should be recognized for what it is: a blatant violation of the First Amendment,” she concluded.

Dominion’s lawsuit argues that Fox promoted the alleged election fraud conspiracy theory because of concerns that loyal conservatives were switching to more pro-Trump media outlets.
