An Osun State High Court on Monday convicted Dr. Ramon Adedoyin guilty of killing Timothy Adegoke, a former master’s student at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. In November 2021, Adegoke, who had slept at Adedoyin’s Hilton Hotel in Ile-Ife, was discovered dead. Shortly after Adegoke’s mysterious death, Roman was detained. Justice Adepele Ojo, the chief justice of Osun State, found Adedoyin and two hotel staff members guilty of the killing in 2021 on Tuesday, May 30. Adedoyin’s alibi was dismissed by the judge. The proprietor insisted that when Adegoke checked in, he wasn’t present at the hotel.

Adedoyin’s refusal to testify, in Justice Ojo’s opinion, killed his case because he was now responsible for proving his case. The two jailed hotel workers are Adeniyi Aderogba and Oyetunde Kazeem. Along with Ramon Adedoyin, the judge convicted them and condemned them to death by hanging.
