First lady Jill Biden is furious after Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley called for President Joe Biden to take a competency test. Haley’s call for a competency test would not only apply to President Biden but to former President Donald Trump, who is 76-years-old, as the former United Nations ambassador said that the test should be administered to any politician older than 75.
“America is not past our prime. It’s just that our politicians are past theirs,” the former South Carolina governor said when she announced her campaign for president.
“In the America I see, the permanent politician will finally retire. We’ll have term limits for Congress,” she said. “And mandatory mental competency tests for politicians over 75 years old.”
That comment was one that drew the ire of the first lady when a video clip of an interview that will air Monday appeared on the CNN show “State of the Union” on Sunday.
“Nikki Haley, one of the Republican candidates, is calling for mental competency tests for those politicians over the age of 75,” interviewer Arlette Saenz said.
“It’s ridiculous,” the first lady said.
“Would your husband ever take one of those?” the reporter said.
“I mean, we haven’t even discussed — we would never even discuss something like that,” she said.
But her husband’s mental state has been a subject of concern for many since the day he was inaugurated and it has only gotten more prominent.
Former White House doctor for former President Obama, and now Republican Texas Representative Ronny Jackson is sounding the alarm on the possibility of World War III.
He said that what he sees as the cognitive decline of President Joe Biden, which is something others have pointed to, is bringing the United States closer to an “all-out war” with Russia.
“It’s TERRIFYING for our country that Biden is our commander-in-chief. He doesn’t know where he’s at half the time, and every day he brings us closer to an all-out war with Russia & China,” the representative said.
“His cognitive decline is going to get people KILLED!!” he said.

This is not the first time Representative Jackson has sounded the alarm. The latest incident, before this, was when the president was at the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) training center.
“You know, uh…” the president said before looking confused.
He then laid the microphone down, picked it up again, and mumbled, “you guys over here.”
“WOW! What is going on with Biden here??? He’s TOTALLY lost. This man needs a cognitive exam NOW. There’s NO WAY he’s ok!!” the representative said in a tweet.
