Fauci Issues Sharp Response To Elon Musk’s Teased ‘Fauci Files’

Dr. Anthony Fauci on Friday expressed puzzlement over Twitter owner Elon Musk’s call for him to be prosecuted and the billionaire’s teasing of the release of something he calls the “Fauci files.”

Neil Cavuto, the host of “Your World” on Fox News, asked the former longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases what he “made of the world’s richest man, or second richest now, going after you.”

According to Musk, the “Fauci Files” were due to drop in early January, but the release appears to be delayed.

Fauci stated, “I just don’t understand what he’s doing. And I don’t think I should be addressing it because it’s a bit puzzling to me.”

Fauci has been the subject of attacks from conservatives over his push for COVID-19 lockdowns and mask and vaccine mandates.

He told Cavuto that he has “absolutely nothing to hide” and would “be able to defend everything I’ve done.”

“So, a lot of people are spouting out a lot about things on me and Twitter. I don’t have a Twitter account. I’ve never had a Twitter account. I don’t intend on having a Twitter account. And I’ve had nothing to do with Twitter. So, I don’t know what they’re talking about when they say that, Neil. I just don’t. I’m puzzled,” he continued.
