Is Elon Musk really developing a humanoid robotic wife?

Recently, a viral picture of Tesla CEO Elon Musk dancing with a humanoid robot named Catnilla sparked rumors that his car company, Tesla, is in the final stages of developing a robot wife that will replace women in the bedroom. According to reports swirling on the internet, the robot uses solar energy for charging, has sensory means and can feel emotions like sadness and happiness with a balanced and interactive mindset. It can also use batteries that could last up to a menstrual cycle and display physical intimacy with a price tag of between $32,000 and $79,000.

However, experts have revealed that the pictures are not real and have been created using Artificial intelligence. Critics say that the hands in the pictures show the robot having too many fingers, which is currently beyond the capabilities of even advanced AI.

It is also important to note that Tesla unveiled a prototype of its humanoid robot, dubbed Optimus, in September last year. The robot walked onstage and demonstrated its range of motion, waving hello and pumping its arms in the air while running on its Full Self-Driving computer. Tesla said it aims to reshape the future of physical work using artificial intelligence.

While rumors of a robotic wife might be fun to entertain, it is unlikely that Elon Musk is developing such a product. In fact, as Legit.ng previously reported, Musk made a whopping $3.9 billion(N1.81 trillion) on Monday, February 6 2023, pushing his total earnings in one week to N4.45 trillion($9.8 billion) and bringing his total wealth to $188.1 billion, according to Forbes.
