Britney Joy car accident

A FAMOUS TikToker has been named as a victim of a deadly vehicle accident on Monday that also claimed the life of her mother. Britney Murphy, 35, also known online as ThatGirlBritneyJoy, is well-known for her humorous skits and vlogs. She has amassed more than 400,000 followers on TikTok. When Murphy and her mother Sherie Smith, 60, were heading to Houston’s Emancipation Park to observe Juneteenth, they were murdered in a collision. No matter what, I will always miss my mother and sister. They were my closest pals. They were everything,” Smith’s daughter Tiffany Smith Cofield, Murphy’s sister, told ABC 13. Cofield claimed that her mother and sister had just left her house to attend the party.

She said, “I was on my way home when I saw the accident.” Cofield recalled, “It looked like her car and everyone said a mum and daughter died when I was walking up and I knew they had left and knew the only mum and daughter would be my mum and sister.” Murphy was driving when a truck struck the vehicle she and her mother were in, according to Houston police. The inquiry is still ongoing, and no charges have been filed as of yet. Cofield claimed the family is not “adequately prepared” to bury Murphy and Smith at the same time, so a GoFundMe page has been set up.
