West Virginia Democrat Senator Joe Manchin admitted that the United States is already at war in Ukraine and claimed that the entire “purpose of America” is to fight wars on behalf of foreign nations in a tweet he posted after returning from a visit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“In my lifetime, I have never seen the United States of America in a more just war,” Manchin wrote in a tweet, apparently admitting that the United States is already “in” the war in Ukraine. The tweet included video footage of Manchin paling around with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his recent trip to Ukraine, a trip that included country singer Brad Paisley and fellow uni-party US Senators Mark Kelly (D-AZ) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK).
Manchin went on in the tweet to claim that the entire “purpose” of the United States is to “defend freedom and fight for democracy” in foreign nations, which he goes on to claim is “why we’re supporting Ukraine every step of the way as they defend their country & way of life.”

In an additional caption attached to his tweet that is not visible in its embedded form above, Senator Joe Manchin doubled down on his claim that the “purpose of America” is to fight wars on behalf of foreign nations, writing that “the purpose of America is to defend freedom and basically fight for the democracies that people have the desire to live in.”
“That’s what we’re doing,” Manchin claimed of the US intervention in Ukraine that’s seen avowed neo-Nazis presented with billions of dollars worth of American cash and armaments.
“And we’re in it to win it with them,” he added.
Joe Manchin’s admission that the United States is already at war in Ukraine comes around the same time that leaked top-secret documents have revealed just that.
According to the document leak, US special forces troops, along with special forces troops from multiple other NATO nations, are already on the ground in Ukraine. This information confirmed the previous assertions of John McIntyre, a US Army veteran who defected from the Ukrainian Foreign Legion after becoming disillusioned with the open Nazism and commission of war crimes he witnessed during his time in Ukraine.
According to McIntyre, in addition to hailing Hitler, Ukrainian forces are receiving the direct help of US special forces troops and intelligence assets, who he personally came into contact with during his time on the front lines.
