Ted Nugent Turns Tables on Jason Aldean’s ‘Weird’ Critics: ‘I Laugh in Their Face, They’ve Got No Soul’

Rock legend Ted Nugent slammed the critics of Jason Aldean’s hit song “Try That In A Small Town, calling them “idiots” on Fox News. Ted said: “I know there’s a bunch of idiots out there, but you need to learn to get a kick out of the idiots. The idiots hate this Jason Aldean song because they hate when we push back against violence.

“They always get it 180 degrees wrong. This song is against violence. The song is about self-defense. The song is about protecting your loved ones in your neighborhood. If you find fault with a song that celebrates protecting your loved ones, your neighborhood, you might be going down to Target to the Satan display and get down on your knees.

“These are just weird people.

“We dismiss them because they’ve gotten out of hand because they’ve got no soul.

“I laugh in their face.

“I’ve always stood up radically – really extremist – for God, family, country, Constitution, Bill of Rights, Ten Commandments, golden rule, work ethic, law and order, all that really radical stuff, and that represents the heart and soul of the best, most passionate, most cocky, most fun people in the world.

“The reach of social media gets to good people all over the world, and all the good people in the world are saying what the Nugent family says: ‘Go, Jason, go… we salute you, and we stand with you,’” he said.

Aldean refused to apologize during a recent concert delivering an inspiring speech that led the crowd to erupt in ‘USA” chants.

He said: “I gotta tell you guys, it’s been a long-ass week. I’ve seen a lot of stuff suggesting I’m this, suggesting I’m that. You can think something all you want, but it doesn’t mean it’s true.

“What I am is a proud American. I love our country, I want to see it restored to what it once was before all this bulls**t”

“I love my country, I love my family, and I will do anything to protect that.

“I can tell you that.”

Comedian Jim Breuer called out the media for trying to cancel Jason Aldean:

Aldean’s wife Brittany defended him from the mob slamming the ‘repulsive’ media after Country Music Television caved to the mob and yanked her husband’s song “Try That in a Small Town.”

Brittany said: “Never apologize for speaking the truth. Media … it’s the same song and dance. Twist everything you can to fit your repulsive narrative. How about instead of creating stories, we focus on the REAL ones such as CHILD TRAFFICKING?

“Food for thought.”

She added a note to Jason’s fans who refused to cave to the mob:

“Man do we love y’all.

“Freethinkers, lions not sheep… thankful for the support, always!”
